Levi is the name given to the area surrounding the 510 meter high Levitunturi (the Levi fell). It is located in the north-west of Finland, 1000 km from Helsinki and Levi is located 170 km north of the Arctic Circle.
There are regular flight connections from Helsinki to Kittilä, and from there it’s a 20 km transfer by airport bus or taxi. There are also transfer connections from and to Kolari railway station (78km) during high season.
The village of Sirkka is situated at the bottom of the Levi fell, and we have a selection of good quality hotels and restaurants. We offer opportunities to experience the full range of Lapland outdoor winter activities, such as husky sledding, snowmobiling, and reindeer driving. In addition Levi is Finland’s leading ski resort, with both downhill and cross-country skiing.
Hullu Poro is located in the center of Levi. Taivaanvalkeat farm is 7kms north of Levi, on the banks of the Ounasjoki, in the village of Köngäs.
The distance between Hotel Hullu Poro in Levi and our other hotel Merihovi in Kemi is approximately 300 km. Rovaniemi is located in the middle of the way, when driving from Levi to Kemi. Merihovi hotel is only 5 km from the airport and 1 km from the railway station.

By plane
Kittilä airport is a 15-minute drive away from Levi resort.

An airport shuttle bus runs from Kittilä airport to Levi after
all Finnair and Blue1 flights throughout the year.
By train
Trains will get you to Kolari or Rovaniemi (Kolari 80 km and
Rovaniemi 170 km from Levi), direct bus connections to Levi
available from the railway stations.
